28 Weeks!

We are now 28 Weeks! Only 12 Weeks left!

Aubrey (Jelly Bean) is now the size of a small cabbage approximately 17 inches long and weighs 2.9 pounds

This week:

Everything is the same at this time. I feel like I'm getting bigger in my stomach area. Dave's convinced she's going to be early. I've also discovered this week that getting up from the floor is very hard and I find myself rolling to a crawl position and crawling to find something to pull myself up on. Sentry has seemed to understand this and typically comes to my side so I can use him to push up on.

We went and picked out our Glider a few days ago and hope to order that in the next week or two since it could take 6-12 weeks. I told Dave that I'm not to worried if it doesn't come until after she's here because I can rock her myself for a few days or a week if I need to. But hopefully we won't have to worry about that.  We also have dates set for almost all of the showers that we are aware of. I'm excited for them but really working hard on getting the registries completed. Babies sure do need lots of stuff. I know for a fact this registry is longer than our wedding one was.

My brother is in town for the holidays and has agreed to do our maternity shoot, which I am 100% excited about. I didn't think he would be able to but so far;  as long as weather permits; we will hopefully get them done in the next few days. This week I also took the two decorative pillows to the lady doing our baby bedding and she told me our bedding will be completed in 2 weeks! YAY!! I got our paint picked out for the nursery and today mom, Alex and I painted the nursery. It looks amazing and you really do feel like you are in a Tiffany box; which is what I was hoping for.

I feel her more and more every day and it is so fun. She seems to freeze when Dave tries to feel her but I'm convinced it is because Dave is usually talking to me or her when he's got his hand on my belly and I think she stops to listen to him. Or she just likes driving her daddy crazy...starting early. ;) I think today I felt her hiccup, which was cool if they were actually hiccups. Felt different than her kicks/jabs.

I also ordered my Baby bag!!! I was so excited because I got one of the two I was wanting and it was 40% off the sale price. I was able to use Christmas money that I was specifically told to use on myself. Super excited to get it in!

She also got some amazing Christmas Gifts from family. Her wardrobe and her police collection have already started.
Still haven't updated the computer so pictures will be uploaded later. :)

27 Weeks!

Well the computer had to be completely wiped and I haven't put photoshop back on my computer or figured out if I even can dl pictures onto it right now so both last week and this weeks pictures will have to wait. :)

We are now 27 Weeks and officially into the 3rd Trimester! Only 13 Weeks left!

Jelly Bean is now the size of a head of Cauliflower approximately 16 inches long and weighs 2.5 pounds

This week:

Sleeping: The same

Back Pain:
The back pain has traveling up my entire back but just taking it day by day, not unbearable.

Movement:
Love feeling her!

Still waiting on the results of the 3 hour Glucose Test. Their office is closed until Thursday so should get the results then.

26 Weeks!

So this is a little late but the computer got a big virus and has been in the shop until today. Due to this the picture may not be uploaded until this upcoming week or so. So here is an update from last Friday.

We are now 26. Weeks!

Jelly Bean is now the size of a Cucumber  approximately 15 inches long and weighs 2.2 pounds

This week:

Sleeping: Still taking Tylenol PM which is still helping.

Back Pain:
The same. A tad worst just because I haven't had any Physical Therapy for over a week or two due to my schedule.

Movement:
Moving much more. We enjoy feeling her move and kick. Every now and then she gets in a really strong kick. She seems to enjoy music (or really hate it) and tends to move more often when there is music playing.

So I found out the results of my 1 hour Glucose Test.  According to my doctor 130 is normal but according to every other site I have looked at, 140-200 is considered an area of concern. I was at 141, so hopefully that means I just ate something I shouldn't have the night before. I took the 3 hour test today so we'll see what the results say.

25 Weeks!!

We are now 25 Weeks!

Jelly Bean is now the size of a Cauliflower approximately 13.6-14.8 inches long and weighs 1.5-2.5 pounds

This week:

Sleeping:Still taking Tylenol PM which is still helping.

Back Pain:
The same all over pain. Had a massage this week which was nice and helped. Also still doing PT twice a week.

Movement:
Every day she gets more and more active. She still likes to be active at night but is starting to get more active throughout the day. I talk to her and press back at her which usually results in a kick back.

This Week we had another Sonogram to check for the things that they were unable to see at my 20 week sonogram. This time baby girl cooperated. Since I was scheduled for my Gestational Diabetes test I couldn't have sugar so she was very calm with a kick here and there during the sonogram. But after I drank that delicious orange drink she went crazy kicking, twirling, punching, ect....it was so funny. I thought to myself, this is when they should have done the sonogram. ha ha silly girl! I also got to meet with my doctor and asked her about my weight since this week so MANY people have made comments on my size and that I seem to be bigger than I should be. Seeing that this is my first rodeo I have no idea what's normal for my body. So when I asked her, she rolled her eyes and said "Don't you love when people that don't have a degree in medicine give you advice on how you should look during pregnancy" and then she said that no she had no concerns. She looked at what I was weighing when I came to her and what I weigh now and said I am right on track and for as far as I am in my pregnancy I am actually doing really well. She measured my belly with a measuring tape and said I was measuring at 6 months, which is where I am currently. So she told me to not worry, all was well and she had no concerns about my weight or size. That baby girl is measuring a day ahead which is perfect. So deep sigh of relief. :)

This week our dresser came in! So now we have the crib, dresser, car seat, and stroller. Now onto the mattress and we are set. Aubrey's Christmas Stocking also came in and was unpacked this week. I'm still debating if I like it but it's growing on me. This week I also have started my diaper collection.

Dave and I have also registered for our birthing class which will start after the New Years.

24 Weeks!

We are now 24 Weeks!

Jelly Bean is now the size of an Eggplant approximately 9  inches long and weighs 1.7 pounds

This week:

Nausea:
none this week

Eating/Drinking:
The Same

Sleeping:
Started not sleeping again over the weekend last weekend and work was so hard Monday/Tuesday. It had gotten to the point I was literally in a haze and not being able to keep track of where I was and what I was supposed to be doing. Which obviously isn't good.  My doctor gave me permission to take Tylenol PM which has helped TREMENDOUSLY!!!

Back Pain:
Lower back pain seems to be getting worst and seems to be on my left side primarily. Also noticing more shoulder/neck pain. I am still going to physical therapy and have what feels like a trillion different stretches that I have to do daily.

Movement:
This week has been very exciting because Aubrey has become much more active! Well actually I think she was already active since every sonogram up to this point she has been all over the place but I guess she's just bigger and stronger so I'm able to feel her. We have enjoyed being able to feel her kick and roll around. Some days she moves more than others and some days it's more intense kicks. It's the most amazing feeling in the world to feel her and it just reminds me each and every single day how blessed we are and what a blessing this precious little girl is.

This week we have also been working on our registry's for the baby showers that will be happening in the months after the New Years. I feel like we have so much on our list that we have registered for and yet I feel and know we are forgetting some items. Not sure where all these things will go in the house. Good thing we have 2 other spare bedrooms besides the nursery and our room. ;) ha ha.
