July 4th!

On July 4th our niece Charlotte was born. David's younger brother and his wife had their first little blessing. We were not able to go see her until Sunday. Below are some pics. The pics are kinda fuzzy because Charlotte was in NICU so we couldn't take any pictures with a flash. She was in NICU, not because she was early but because it was such a long labor. She got an infection and liquid in her lungs so they had to monitor her. The day we saw her the tubes on her face were gone but she still had a few on her body. Today (Monday) she was taken off all the tubes and is now with Beth in their own room. We are looking forward to seeing her when they go home so we can hold her and play with her.














Things here are going good. We're just busy with work and taking it easy. A few weeks ago we went to see my parents, while Alex was in town. It was good to see them all. We surprised Dad with his Birthday/Father's day gift. Some golf clubs....Irons. Dave picked them out, I have no idea. He loved them though. :) Dave and him will hit the course next time we're up there. Work is keeping Dave busy and I'm trying to keep myself busy with work.

Dave and I finally ate the top of our wedding cake this past week also. yea I know we're suppose to do that on our 1 year but who cares, we finally did it! :) lol And surprisingly it tasted very good. The cake was moist and the icing creamy.
